Information
This kiln was Donovan Palmquist’s first Bourry Box kiln. I have a small house on a small yard that butts up to my next-door neighbors and an elementary school in an inner suburb of a city with a reputation for being the lawyer capital of the world. This kiln fitted into the available space, and it didn’t emit billows of smoke that could attract the attention of some of those lawyers! I fire it solo once a year. The firings use locally sourced wood from my neighborhood and the firings take three days since I shut down for two nights to sleep. I have more information about it under my About tab on my website.
